Highlights of the Tour

Tour summary
You will be able to play in several leading venues in the island, including Galle's seaside stadium and the historic Sinhalese Sports Club. Indeed, cricket touring is not just about the cricket. It is about learning more, about ourselves and other communities we know little about. This tour, designed for schools, provides an opportunity for young cricketers to directly participating in community projects. Whilst in the hills the children will spend an afternoon at a local orphanage playing games with the children and then while on the coast they will participate in a project championed by Sri Lanka's greatest cricketer, Muttiah Muralitharan, who has been at the forefront of redevelopment and community work ever since the 2004 tsunami.
